First Set of Results from the 2015 Coupe Mondiale |
This year, the results of the competitions are being announced as they are ready. The full awards ceremony, complete lists of placings and marksheets from the adjudicators will be presented on Saturday. Fittingly, the first of the Coupe Mondiale winners announced this year was from the host country.
International Competition for Digital Accordion
- 1st: Netta Skog (Finland)
- 2nd: Alexander Bodell (United Kingdom)
- 3rd: Denis Marko Dubjei (Slovakia)
Junior Virtuoso Entertainment Competition
- 1st: Valerio Russo (Italy)
- 2nd: Baniele Carabatta (Italy)
- 3rd: Rodion Shirokov (Russia)

Concert - Tango Orchestra Guardia Nueva |
A wonderful Tango Orchestra, Guardia Nueva and Soloists Jonna Pirttijoki and Teemu Roivainen are conducted by Raimo Vertainen. Jonna Pirttijoki is an accordionist, bandoneonist and singer, Teemu Roivainen is the winner of the “Tango King of Finland” competition (Seinäjoki Tango Festival). Their repertoire features a blend of World Tango, Finnish and Argentinian tunes, the Gotan Project and of course, music by Piazzolla.
