General Eligibility - International Piano Accordion Competition, 2004
  • There is no limit of numbers of candidates from each country.
  • Candidates up to 32 years of age are allowed to enter the competition - year of birth: born 1972 or later. All entries must include a copy of birth certificate of the candidate.
  • For full eligibility, please see General Information and Conditions
  • Candidates are invited to enter using the new on-line entry forms whenever possible, allowing the entry to be processed and checked promptly. A contact e-mail address is requested for entry confirmation and updated festival information.
  • Entries Close: August 1, 2004
 
Candidates Programme - International Piano Accordion Competition, 2004

OWN CHOICE PROGRAMME ONLY.
Own Choice Programme
  • OWN CHOICE PROGRAMME ONLY consisting of three (3) or more pieces of different styles, character and composers.
  • Competitors must present themselves as artists to an audience; presentation, dress and stage-craft all being important.
  • Playing time: minimum 15 minutes to maximum 20 minutes playing time. Failure to observe minimum or maximum playing time will result in a mark penalty by the jury.
Prizes and Awards - International Piano Accordion Competition, 2004
  • All candidates shall receive a Diploma of participation
  • 1st Prize: Concert Tour to New Zealand, 2nd: € 300.00, 3rd: € 200.00
    (First Prize Concert Tour to New Zealand to perform as Guest Artist at the 2005 South Pacific Accordion Championships in Auckland, New Zealand.)
  • National member associations are requested to offer concerts or a tour for the 1st Prize Winners.
  • All winners must be present in person at the awards ceremony in appropriate attire. In case of absence, the prize may be accepted by a delegate of their country. Diplomas will be mailed by the Secretariat.
