On behalf of the Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) Executive Committee and CIA Members worldwide, we welcome you for the very first time to Russia!.
Hosted by the Rostov-on-Don City Administration with the support of our CIA member "The International Music Center 'Harmony', we have the great pleasure of inviting you to come to Russia for the 69th Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Championships. This worldwide musical event will be held from 11-17 September, 2016 in Rostov-On-Don, in Russia.
The CIA has enjoyed a long and stellar relationship with Russia. Today, Russia has three voting members of the CIA and Russian candidates have successfully contested many of the CIA Coupe Mondiale categories of competition over many decades. In addition, Russian membership in the CIA has provided valuable input and support to our CIA Executive and Music committees.
We are delighted to be hosted in Russia for the first time, and are sure this magnificent event will be one to remember, culminating wtih the Gala closing ceremony concert in the main square expected to attract some 100,000 people!
We look forward to seeing you in September, 2016 in Russia!
