The concerts are held at 6:00 PM each night (US East Coast Time), and broadcast live around the world on the Internet at the time of the performance, as well as archived for viewing at anytime in the future.

A series of accordion concerts will be held at the Millennium Stage at the famed Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, during the 2007 CIA Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Championships. The 'Performing Arts for Everyone' on the Millennium Stage program is designed to introduce the Kennedy Center, and make music available from a variety of artists from around the world to all, by providing a performance open to the public and free of charge 365 days a year.

Advancement and Development Committee Inaugural Meeting
The historical first meeting of the newly formed CIA Advancement and Development Committee including Joan C. Sommers (USA) as Vice Chairperson and Mirco Patarini (Italy) as Chairperson took place at the CIA Headquarters Hotel, the Holiday Inn in Alexandria, VA. This committee reports to the CIA Executive Committee and has already begun formulating proposals for the promotion and advancement of the accordion and the CIA and the various activities it carries out, as well as proposing potential additional members for the committee.

The CIA Executive Committee and guests were hosted at a Welcoming Reception and Dinner as guests of Faithe Deffner, the AAA and the ATG.

Team New Zealand is preparing to host the Coupe Mondiale in Auckland in August, 2009. With a large delegation of New Zealanders present in Washington, they were hosted for a "Kiwi" party to celebrate the hosting of the 2009 Coupe Mondiale.
