The first rehearsal of the CIA World Accordion Orchestra V took place at the Star Theatre, in preparation for the Concert performance on the closing Ceremony.

This year, the final round of the International Competition for Virtuoso Entertainment Music was held as a TV Show. CIA General Secretary Kimmo Mattila and Coupe Mondiale Assistant Organizer Crystal Wang hosted the show before a capacity audience. Each contestant was introduced with a pre-recorded video clip. The exciting competition finale featured the final top 12 contestants from Round I of competition.
