In the days
preceeding the 64th Coupe Mondiale, many activities took place as
final preparations took place. President of the China Accordion
Association (CAA) Professor Li Cong held an important International
Press Conference to outline the many activities to take place during
the 64th Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Championships Festival.
The festival will include seven categories of competition, Concerts,
Festival Performances, the CIA 164th General Assembly of Delegates,
outdoor performances in downtown Shanghai, displays of Instruments
and much more.

Welcome Reception |
With over 30
New Zealanders attending the 64th Coupe Mondiale Festival in Shanghai,
CIA Ambassador Kevin Friedrich and Public Relations Manager Harley
Jones hosted a welcome reception to wish everyone a great week of
music and friendship. Many of the Delegates in attendance at the Coupe
Mondiale in Shanghai have travelled to New Zealand before, so were
pleased to renew friendships with their fellow accordionists from
the other side of the world. |
